Welcome to Cooler Concord

TOWN GOAL

The Town of Concord, Massachusetts, voted at the 2017 Town Meeting to adopt the goal of an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, compared to that in 2008.  Achieving this goal will require increasing efficiency in our use of energy, and decreasing carbon-intensive energy use.

Cooler Concord is a program sponsored by the Town of Concord and the Concord Municipal Light Plant (CMLP), and run by the Comprehensive Sustainable Energy Committee (CSEC) with the goal of helping residents reduce emissions while saving money.  By working together we can have a big impact, and be an example for other communities.

Find out how to take significant steps to use less energy and save $$.
