New Environmental Film Series Launches in Carlisle This Fall
Discover how everyday consumption and waste impact our planet and our health at a free three-part film series in Carlisle (First Religious Society, 27 School St). Open to all, including children 10+.
- Oct 3 (7pm): Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy—unpacks consumerism and the brand tricks that keep us buying more.
- Nov 7 (7pm): Plastic People: The Hidden Crisis of Microplastics—exposes the environmental and health dangers of plastic pollution.
- Dec 12 (7pm): Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story—explores the vast systemic food waste from stores, farms, and our own kitchens and the environmental damage it causes.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments and stay for a post-film community Q&A. Doors open 6:30pm.
