Thoreau and the Language of Trees – Illustrated Talk by Richard Higgins

Trees were central to Henry David Thoreau’s creativity as a writer, his work as a naturalist, and his inner life. Author of ‘Thoreau and the Language of Trees’ and a photographer, Richard Higgins examines Thoreau’s deep connections to trees using Thoreau’s words and his own photographs of trees.
