SUMMARY:Flyways: A Film Screening and Bird Talk with Peter Alden
DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Goodwin Forum at the Main Library for a screening of “Flyways\,” from PBS Nature during Climate Prep Week. This film follows a conservation movement of bird-loving experts and citizen scientists as they mobilize to the challenge of understanding and saving shorebirds. After the film\, local naturalist Peter Alden will lead a discussion.  \nSee the library event calendar for more Climate Prep Week programs including a West Concord Nature Walk to the Assabet River Bluff with Peter Alden on Saturday September 28 at 1 PM. \nThis programming is made possible through a grant from SciStarter. There will be a second opportunity to watch and discuss the film on Thursday\, October 3 at Fowler.
